Robot gearboxes: 49 test rigs
In the robolink® laboratory, different worm gears and strain wave gears are currently being tested for durability on 49 test rigs in 24/7 operating mode. The size RL-D-20 (transmission 1:38) has completed more than 1 million cycles at 5 Nm and 12 rpm.

Multi-axis robolink® arms are tested in live mode. 4 automatic assembly machines operating in 2-shift mode assemble 20 m of e-chain® per hour on average. The first arm has already completed 1 million cycles at a cycle time of 4-6 seconds. Find out more

Automated book scanner: robolink® turns the pages
This automatic book scanner from EPS GmbH was fitted out with a robolink® D, which turns pages and triggers the next scanning process as soon as a page has been scanned. The articulated arm is able to turn pages made of highly sensitive paper in different book sizes by means of a suction effect generated between a special tool and the page.
