Test the new motor control system from igus® online
 


For our maintenance-free drylin® E linear axes, there is now an intuitive and easy-to-use motor control system with the name "dryve". You can enter the data easily via PC, tablet or smartphone or change the data live; all without any software installation. Online, there is a unique simulation for you to try.

This system, used in the area of bioanalytics and medical technology, automatically fills different containers with amounts of fluid ranging from 0.05 millilitres to 500 millilitres. The engineer responsible for designing the system decided to use ready-to-connect, lubrication-free and maintenance-free drylin® E room gantries from igus®.

chainflex® cables show no wear even after 222,776 cycles
In order to be able to make a definitive statement about the behaviour of cables in a vertically suspended energy chain, igus® investigated in its in-house test laboratory. To do this, four chainflex® cables were tested in an energy chain® of the E4 series for 10 days with a travel distance of 5 meters.

Wood splitter processes tree trunks to make easy-to-handle firewood
This system processes tree trunks to make easy-to-handle firewood. To achieve this, the branches are removed from the trunks, which are then taken to a sawing unit. Here, a chainsaw cuts the trunk into small blocks. A robust iglidur® PRT slewing ring bearing is responsible for the movement of the saw.
