The new design offers you many new features, including a modular layout with maximum flexibility integrated into the one device. It is equipped with a bus module (MBM) with integrated PROFINET/PROFISAFE, that can be connected directly to the MGB2 or, if space is tight, can be mounted remotely and connected using cables. The gate locking device features an extremely robust industrial housing and has an integrated solid door stop and mounting plate. It can be mounted on doors hinged on the left and right, as well as sliding doors. The locking force of 2000N prevents unintentional opening of the safety guard. The MGB2 meets requirements of all relevant standards including EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 14119.

Innovative fire barrier solutions for the rail industry PMA has developed a flexible fire protection solution to be used in combination with its proven cable protection systems. A PMA metal adapter is now available with built in intumescent material which can be used in combination with PMA conduits. They allow cables to be ducted through a firewall without compromising the integrity and function of the fire wall. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material swells up to 40 times its original volume, sealing all cavities between the cables, preventing the spread of fire, smoke & gas.

Two independent switching outputs can be taught in via teach-in or IO-Link in order to detect liquids, as well as dark, transparent or reflective objects at any two switching points. These make it possible to monitor minimum and maximum values when measuring fill-levels, distances and stack heights, even where interference factors such as ambient light, fog or dust prevail.
