Inductive sensors with full-metal stainless steel V4A (1.4404/316L) housing are highly impact resistant, resistant to chemicals (e.g. detergents) and, thanks to their degree of protection IP68/IP69K, are even waterproof during high pressure cleaning. They are therefore ideal for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries. LEDs were deliberately omitted in favour of a hermetically sealed housing. A laser-engraved nameplate ensures that no particles can enter the product to be manufactured.
Due to their ATEX certification for the areas of 3G and 3D, inductive sensors with full-metal housing can be used in hazardous applications without concern.
