Safety through-beam sensors are designed for use in demanding industrial environments and protect areas up to 20m. The visible red light and the large opening angle facilitate installation and reduce commissioning time. The protection function can be checked at any time using the test input.
The protection field of up to four through-beam sensors can be monitored with a Wenglor individual safety light barrier control unit or with a suitable safety control unit. If one or more light beams are broken, this leads to the shutdown of the safety output. The standard version of the single-gate control offers protection mode, restart inhibit and protection monitoring functions. For demanding applications, the extended version is also equipped with muting and override functions.
Safety through-beam sensors can be used with the appropriate evaluation unit up to performance level c in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1. All products are certified by TÜV.
