Wenglor fork sensors combine emitter and receiver in a single housing and have a collimated laser beam with a very small diameter of just 0.6 mm. Consequently, they’re capable of reliably detecting extremely small objects with sizes of down to 40 µm and transparent objects in applications with high process speeds of up to 10 kHz – regardless of whether the object is closer to the emitter or the receiver.
Thanks to corrosion-free stainless steel, FDA compliance and Ecolab certification, fork sensors in rugged InoxSens hygienic design are ideally suited for use in hygienically sensitive Settings.
Application examples:
- Supply control
- Gap control
- Joining control
- Sorting extremely small parts
- Recognizing slots, holes and notches
