Guard locking devices are distinguished by continuously, electronically monitored locking. They detect and indicate contamination which could reduce locking force. Electrical latching or latching by means of a permanent magnet can be selected as an option for the electromagnetic versions. The electromechanical variant offers additional flexibility thanks to simple switching between two different latching forces.
The safety sensors can be checked for correct functioning at any time by viewing the switching status indicators Errors which are not directly safety-relevant are tolerated for 30 minutes, in order to be able to eliminate errors at an early stage, and to avoid an uncontrolled system shutdown.
