Coding pins are designed in such a way as to make incorrect coupling between inserts impossible. When a number of identical connectors with different functions are mounted closely together, coding pins prevent the coupling of a non-corresponding insert and thus prevent damage and breakdown. Treotham's range of ILME coding pins allow up to 70 different combinations.
