Smarter cable routing for demanding installations

Demanding industrial applications often push connectors to their limits: large cable diameters, constrained installation spaces, and high-power loads can make secure mating and proper cable management a real challenge.

To address these needs, ILME has developed a new range of angled surface mounting enclosures, engineered to optimize cable routing and simplify installation — available across all main sizes: 44.27, 57.27, 77.27, and 104.27. Compatible with both standard inserts and the MIXO modular system, they deliver robust protection and enable the integration of high-current modules in a more versatile and reliable configuration.

WHAT’S NEW

The new housings and hoods feature up to three vertical cable entry points (M20/M25/M32 or M40), providing greater accessibility and flexibility where it matters most. This is especially valuable for high-power MIXO modules — such as 300 A or 200 A — which typically require large-cross-section conductors that are difficult to bend and cannot be accommodated in standard wall-mounted enclosures due to limited clearance.

The new angled design solves this precisely, enabling an easy fit and straightforward cable routing even in the tightest spaces.

– (1) M7FAP…/ (2) M7FAPW… surface mounting housings with single or multiple cable entries, single V-TYPE lever for standard or W-TYPE series, stainless steel fixing flange with sealed screws for IP67 protection.

– (3) MFV… / (4) MFVW… matching hoods with single or multiple cable entries, designed to pair with V-TYPE (and C-TYPE) or W-TYPE housing series, respectively.
